Twist Ring — One Stone on a Turning Band

A narrow band, twisted along its whole length so the surface is never flat for more than a few millimetres, with a single clear zirconia set at the front where the turn passes the top of the finger. The stone is 1.5mm — small enough that most people notice the twist first and the spark second, which is the intention. 1.5mm tall, 1.5mm thick, 0.828g of solid 925 sterling silver.

It is also cut well below our usual range, adjustable around UK I to K. That is a genuinely hard size to buy for: most adjustable bands are cut for M to O and simply will not close down far enough, which leaves slimmer fingers and little fingers choosing from almost nothing. 1. Why is there no 925 stamp on this ring?
Because there is nowhere flat to put one. The band twists continuously from one end to the other, so there is no straight interior face to take a mark without cutting across the pattern. It is solid 925 sterling silver — the missing stamp is a consequence of the shape, not of the metal. 2. How can I tell it is really silver, then?
By how it behaves. Genuine sterling develops a soft grey patina over months that polishes straight off with a cloth; plated base metal goes green in the recesses and stays green. 3. Is the stone a real diamond?
No, and we would not describe it as one. It is a single clear cubic zirconia, 1.5mm across. Zirconia is a lab-grown stone, cut and polished like a gemstone — far harder-wearing and brighter than glass or paste. It is not a diamond, and the price reflects that honestly.

4. Will it fit a normal ring finger?
Probably not, and that is deliberate. It flexes around UK I to K, which suits a slim ring finger, a little finger on most hands, or a younger wearer. 5. How do I clean it?
