The Story Behind JewelHub

JewelHub started with a name and a memory.

My mother ran Hong Kong Jade House in the 1980s — the shop where I spent my after‑school hours and first learned what jewellery really meant. It was a family jewellery store built with care, established in 1960, with deep material knowledge and a genuine love for the craft. When she passed, she left me something more valuable than the pieces themselves: an understanding of what jewellery truly means to people.

I took the J from Jade and the H from House — and built JewelHub. Not as a tribute. Not as a memorial. But as a continuation — a modern store for a new era, carrying the same values she built her shop on: honest materials, intentional design, and jewellery chosen with heart.

This is where it all began — my mother’s shop, her logo, and the childhood world that shaped JewelHub.

Behind JewelHub is 25 years of digital experience — from early web portals in Hong Kong, to e-commerce in the United States, to building AI-supported modular commerce in the UK. When JewelHub launched in 2025, it was built as a system from day one — validated across 12 independent SEO and AI tools including Ahrefs, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.

Hong Kong Jade House (1960–2000) — a family jewellery shop rooted in honest materials and everyday craftsmanship. This is where our understanding of jewellery as meaningful, emotional objects began.
Magzila (2000–2010) — a Hong Kong–based festival decoration and event management business, introducing system‑based design and large‑scale coordination.
Skin18.com (2010–2020) — a natural Korean skincare e‑commerce platform serving the US and European markets, deepening our expertise in online customer behaviour and community‑driven discovery.
JewelHub (2025–NOW) — built as a modular jewellery system from day one, supported by 25 years of digital thinking and validated across twelve independent SEO and AI tools including Ahrefs, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity.
