JewelSnap #001 · Heart charms
A heart charm says what words sometimes cannot.
How a heart can comfort you
A small heart gives your hands and your eyes something calm to hold on to. On a busy or anxious day, turning it between your fingers or glancing at it can bring you back to the people and the feelings that matter. It is a quiet reminder that you are loved, and that you can love back. It is not a treatment, just a small everyday comfort.
- Missing someone: wear it as a link to them.
- Hard day: touch it and take one slow breath.
- Self-love: wear one for yourself, with no occasion needed.

Where the heart symbol comes from
The heart shape we know today appears in European art from around the 1300s, long after people first linked the heart with feeling. Where the shape itself came from is still debated: an ivy leaf, a seed pod and even the real organ have all been suggested. By the Middle Ages it stood for love and loyalty, and in jewellery it has been worn as a love token ever since.
