One Stone, Cut to the Shape It Sits In
A small gold-tone stainless steel heart, almost entirely given over to a single heart-cut clear crystal measuring 5.3mm wide by 5mm tall. The stone is held in a raised bezel ringed with small gold beads, and the metal that shows is really just a frame. At 9.5mm wide by 12mm tall the whole charm is barely larger than the stone it carries.
It is 4.8mm thick, which is deep for something this small - that depth is the bezel and the pavilion of the stone sitting below it, and it is why the crystal has real fire rather than lying flat. At 1.23g it is among the lighter pieces in this release despite feeling solid in the hand.

The crystal is glue-set into its bezel, which is normal at this price and perfectly durable in ordinary wear - but keep the charm out of showers, swimming pools, hot tubs and ultrasonic cleaners, which attack the adhesive rather than the stone. 1. Is this a diamond?
No. It is a clear crystal - a glue-set rhinestone, cut to a heart shape. It is not a diamond and not cubic zirconia. It is chosen for brightness at this price, which is also why the care note above matters.
2. How big is the stone?
5.3mm wide by 5mm tall - which on a charm 9.5mm across means the stone is more than half the width of the whole piece.
3. Can the back be engraved?
No - the reverse carries the bezel shape in gold relief and there is no flat area. The Pave Arch (IHSMC069) is the flat-backed charm in this release.
4. Why is it so thick for something so small?
4.8mm of it is bezel and the depth of the stone sitting in it. A shallower setting would make the crystal look flat and grey; this one lets light back out of it.
