A rounded coffee mug in gold-tone stainless steel with a loop handle. The word coffee runs round the side in white enamel, and the rim is filled with white, so the mug reads clearly from above too.
At 3.66g it is a compact, weighty piece. The lettering continues round the body, so the front and back each show part of the word.

1. What does it say?
Coffee, in white enamel capitals running round the side of the mug. You read part of the word from the front and the rest from the back.
2. Is there a red lettering version?
Yes - the same mug with red enamel lettering is IHSMC143.
3. Is the white painted on?
It is enamel, set into the lettering and the rim of the mug, so it sits flush with the metal rather than being a surface paint. Keep it away from knocks and chemicals - see the care note above.
4. Will it tarnish?
No. Stainless steel does not tarnish, rust or turn skin green, and the gold tone is a plated finish over that stainless steel core rather than a lacquer that can peel.
