Hammered Peanut Charm - Gold Stainless Steel - 8x19mm
The peanut is a legume that ripens underground, which is why it is also called the groundnut. It has been eaten in South America for thousands of years. As a charm it stands for a simple snack, a small comfort and a bit of humour. Read more motifs at JewelMotif™ · Watch & read: History of Charm Bracelets: How the Trend Began
A Peanut in the Shell With a Hammered Finish
A peanut in its shell in gold-tone stainless steel, formed in the round and covered in raised, faceted panels that catch the light like a hammered surface. A ridge runs down the centre where the two halves of the shell meet.
At 0.76g and 19mm tall it is very light for its size. The faceted pattern is the same on both sides.

Choose Charm only to add it to a bracelet you already own. Charm + Clasp adds a small lobster clasp so it clips straight on - no pliers, no open links - and it works just as well on a bag, a zip pull, a keyring or a watch strap. Charm + Gold Bracelet or Charm + Silver Bracelet pairs it with our Gold or Silver Paperclip Chain Bracelet - fine-gauge stainless steel, adjustable from 16cm to 20cm. Bought as a set they cost 30% less than buying separately.
No stones and no enamel, so nothing can work loose, and stainless steel does not tarnish, rust or turn skin green. Wipe it with a dry soft cloth after wear. Full guidance at our Stainless Steel Care Card and the JewelCare™ hub.
FAQs
1. Is it flat?
No. It is 7mm thick and formed in the round, so it looks like a real shell from every side.
2. Is there another peanut?
Yes - a slimmer peanut with a dotted texture is IHSMC186.
3. Is it light?
Very - 0.76g, so it suits a fine chain as well as a bracelet.
4. Will it tarnish?
No. Stainless steel does not tarnish, rust or turn skin green, and the gold tone is a plated finish over that stainless steel core rather than a lacquer that can peel.
5. Does it arrive gift-ready?
Yes - every order is packed to give. See JewelGift™.
