A Pearl Star Inside a Ring of Ten Crystals
This is the most jewelled charm in the range. At the centre sits a five-pointed star of pearlescent white enamel, domed and raised well above the surface, and around it runs a complete halo of ten clear crystals - each one dropped into its own round bezel cup, the cups themselves following the star's outline so the ring bulges out at the points and pinches in at the valleys.
It is 6.1mm thick, which is unusual for a charm this size and is what gives it presence: the halo stands proud, the enamel star stands proud of that again, and the whole thing reads as a small piece of costume jewellery rather than a flat cut-out. The reverse is gold throughout, with the ten bezel cups showing through as rounded domes.
