The Same Cup, in Silver
A coffee cup in silver-tone stainless steel sitting on its own saucer, modelled all the way round and hollowed so you can see down into the cup. The word coffee is worked into the side in a low script, and a small handle curls off the rim. It measures 12mm wide by 12.8mm tall and 7.7mm deep.
At 3.1g it has real weight. Silver reads colder here than gold and pushes the piece towards a modern espresso cup rather than a gilded teacup. It turns freely on a closed round ring, and the far side carries the same cup and saucer without the lettering.

No, and that is deliberate. It is silver-tone stainless steel, which will not tarnish the way sterling silver does and needs no polishing.
2. Is the cup actually hollow?
Yes. The bowl is open and you can see down into it, and the saucer is modelled underneath.
3. Is there a gold version?
Yes - the same cup and saucer in gold tone is IHSMC139.
4. Will it tarnish?
No. Stainless steel does not tarnish, rust or turn skin green - unlike sterling silver, which needs polishing. The silver tone here is the finish on a stainless steel core.
