Ears, eyes, muzzle and a small bow at the throat are cut into the metal; there are no stones anywhere.

1. Is it hollow? Does that make it fragile?
It is hollow-formed, which is how a charm this size weighs under a gram - and no, it is not fragile. Stainless steel is much harder than gold or silver, so the shell holds its shape through normal wear. Only deliberate crushing would deform it.

2. Will it get lost on a bracelet?
At 18mm tall it is a normal charm height - the lightness is in the weight, not the size. What it will not do is dominate, which is exactly what you want from a piece you are layering with others.

3. Is it suitable for a child?
It is the best of our bears for that. Hypoallergenic steel, no stones to work loose, no pearls to ruin with soap, no sharp edges, and light enough that a small wrist will not notice it. As with any small item, it is not for children young enough to put things in their mouths.

4. It reacts slightly to a magnet - is that a problem?
No. Cast stainless steel normally contains a small amount of ferrite, deliberately, because it stops the metal cracking as it solidifies - that is what a magnet finds.
