Corn on the Cob Charm - Gold Stainless Steel - 6x17.7mm
Maize was first grown in southern Mexico about 9,000 years ago, and in the Maya story of creation the first people were made from maize dough. It spread across the Americas and then the world, and is now one of the most widely grown crops on earth. As a charm the ear of corn stands for harvest, plenty and nourishment, and the kernels show clearly on the gold. It is a friendly gift for a friend who loves summer barbecues, or for a farmer's or gardener's birthday. Choose Charm only to add it to a bracelet you already own. Charm + Clasp adds a small lobster clasp so it clips straight on - no pliers, no open links - and it works just as well on a bag, a zip pull, a keyring or a watch strap. Charm + Gold Bracelet or Charm + Silver Bracelet pairs it with our Gold or Silver Paperclip Chain Bracelet - fine-gauge stainless steel, adjustable from 16cm to 20cm. Bought as a set they cost 30% less than buying separately.
No stones and no enamel, so nothing can work loose, and stainless steel does not tarnish, rust or turn skin green. Wipe it with a dry soft cloth after wear. Full guidance at our Stainless Steel Care Card and the JewelCare™ hub.
FAQs
1. Where are the kernels?
On the front, in neat raised rows.
2. Is it slim?
Yes. It is 6mm wide and 17.7mm tall, so it hangs neatly.
3. Is it light?
Yes - 1.77g, so it suits a bracelet or a fine chain.
4. Will it tarnish?
No. Stainless steel does not tarnish, rust or turn skin green, and the gold tone is a plated finish over that stainless steel core rather than a lacquer that can peel.
5. Does it arrive gift-ready?
Yes - every order is packed to give. See JewelGift™.
