Four Pearl Wings, Four Small Crystals
This is the smallest butterfly in the range and one of the most finely made. Four separate panels of pearlescent white enamel are set into a gold-tone frame - two upper wings, two lower - each one domed slightly so the light moves across it rather than sitting flat. Down the centre, four clear crystals run the length of the body like a row of tiny buttons.
At 13.1mm it is genuinely small, and that is the point. It reads as a detail rather than a statement, which is exactly what you want when you are stacking three or four charms on one bracelet. The reverse is a smooth polished gold panel, flat enough to take a short engraving.

The four crystals are glue-set rather than claw-set, so keep the charm out of showers, pools and ultrasonic cleaners - prolonged soaking loosens the adhesive. 4. Will the gold tone wear off? The colour is plated onto stainless steel, which does not rust or turn skin green. Keep it dry and away from perfume and it holds its finish for years.
