A Pretzel With Salt Made of Light
A pretzel in gold-tone stainless steel, wider than it is tall, with the crossed loops worked as smooth rounded bars. Around nine small clear crystals are set into the top of the loops, scattered the way coarse salt sits on a real one. It measures 15.5mm wide by 12.4mm tall.
At 1.47g it is light for its width. It hangs from a closed round ring and turns freely; the back carries the same knot but no crystals, so it reads plain gold from behind.

The crystals are glue-set into shallow cups. Showers, swimming pools, hot tubs and ultrasonic cleaners all attack the adhesive rather than the stones - take it off before water and clean with a dry soft cloth. 1. Are these diamonds?
No. Around nine clear crystals - glue-set rhinestones, not diamonds and not cubic zirconia.
2. Is the back set too?
No. The back is the same rounded knot in plain gold, with no crystals on it.
3. How does it compare to the plain pretzels?
This one is the middle size and the only one in the family with stones. IHSMC120 is the small plain gold, IHSMC121 the small silver and IHSMC123 the large plain gold.
4. It reacts slightly to a magnet - is that a problem?
No. Cast stainless steel normally contains a small amount of ferrite, deliberately, because it stops the metal cracking as it solidifies - that is what a magnet finds.
