Crystal Bow Bear Charm - A Teddy in Miniature, Set in Gold

Where our gummy bear is chunky and three-dimensional, this one is a flat, finely drawn teddy - 16mm tall by 12mm wide and only 2mm thick, so it lies close against the skin and slips under a cuff without catching. Each crystal sits in its own beaded claw setting inside a raised gold outline, and a tiny sculpted bow ties at the throat. At 1.6g in gold-tone stainless steel, it is light enough to wear on the finest chain without dragging it out of shape.

The bow is what makes it a teddy rather than a bear - the small human gesture of having dressed the animal up, the same instinct that puts a ribbon on a gift. Yes, and the pull is actually evidence in its favour. Copper and brass - the metals people worry about in costume jewellery - are completely non-magnetic, so any magnetic response rules them out.
