Classic Longhorn Bull Charm - The Widest Charm We Make
A longhorn bull head in gold-tone stainless steel, horns sweeping wide and upward in a single unbroken curve, with a long tapered muzzle beneath and a satin-finished oval set into the brow. At 25mm across it is the widest charm in the range and one of only a handful that is wider than it is tall - 20.5mm - which changes how it sits: it spans a bracelet rather than hanging from it.
The finish does the detailing. The horns and muzzle are high polished so they catch light along their length, while the brow oval is left matte, giving the face a focal point at a size too small for engraved features. It is modelled on both faces, so the head reads properly whichever way it turns, and at 2.5mm deep and 1.4g it stays surprisingly light for something with this much presence.

1. It reacts slightly to a magnet - is that a problem?
No. Cast stainless steel normally contains a small amount of ferrite, deliberately, because it stops the metal cracking as it solidifies - that is what a magnet finds. 2. Do the horns catch on things?
The tips are rounded rather than pointed, and the whole charm is only 2.5mm deep, so it sits flat. It is wide, though - give it a little clearance from its neighbours on a stack or the horns will sit over them.
3. Can the back be engraved?
No - it is modelled on both sides, so there is no plain panel. Our flat-backed charms are the ones for a name or a date.
4. Is it a skull or a live bull?
A stylised head rather than a skull - there is a muzzle and a brow, not bare bone. If you want the Western steer-skull look it reads that way at a glance, but up close it is an animal, not a memento mori.
5. How does it attach?
It comes on a jump ring, which sits over a chain link or a charm carrier. If you would rather clip it on and off by hand, we can add a small lobster clasp - just ask when you order.
