A Horse Inside Its Own Good Luck
A gold-tone stainless steel horseshoe with a horse's head modelled inside the curve, mane raised, facing left. The band of the shoe is filled with rectangular enamel blocks in four colours - red, yellow, green and lilac - set like nail holes round the arc. It measures 13.3mm wide by 16.6mm tall.
At 1.7g it has enough body to sit steady on a bracelet. The reverse repeats the whole design - the same horseshoe, the same horse head, the same four enamel colours - so there is no wrong way round to wear it.

The colour is enamel fused to the metal rather than stones set into it, so nothing can fall out - but enamel chips where a stone would only scratch. Keep it away from hard knocks, keys and door frames, and away from bleach, acetone and perfume sprayed directly onto it. A soft damp cloth and a dry off. 1. Are the colours enamel or stones?
Enamel, in four colours. There are no stones on this charm, so nothing can work loose - the trade-off is that enamel can chip on a hard knock.
2. Is the back the same as the front?
Yes. The horseshoe, the horse head and all four enamel colours repeat on the reverse, so it reads correctly whichever way it turns on a bracelet.
3. Can the back be engraved?
No - the reverse carries the full design rather than a plain panel.
4. Which way up should a horseshoe be worn?
