A Pair of Wings, Folded Down
A pair of angel wings in gold-tone stainless steel, joined at the top and sweeping down and outward. Each wing carries three ranks of feathering - short and rounded at the shoulder, long and pointed at the tips - and the whole piece is 21.5mm across, which makes it wide for a charm.
At 2.25g it is lighter than its width suggests. The reverse is plain polished gold, smooth and slightly dished, following the curve of the wings.

1. How wide is it?
21.5mm across the wingtips by 16.7mm tall. It is wider than most charms in the range, so it wants a little space either side.
2. Can the back be engraved?
The reverse is plain polished gold but it is gently dished rather than flat, and it follows the wing shape, so there is no clean panel for lettering.
3. Is anything set into it?
No. It is all metal - the feathering is worked into the same piece.
4. It reacts slightly to a magnet - is that a problem?
No. Cast stainless steel normally contains a small amount of ferrite, deliberately, because it stops the metal cracking as it solidifies - that is what a magnet finds.
